PressureWatcher is published by Migraine LLC. This app helps you track barometric pressure changes and related forecasts. We designed it to work without an account, without advertising, and without cross-app tracking.
Approximate location. If you enable location access or choose a city, coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to fetch pressure forecasts for that area. We do not operate servers that store your location.
Device barometer. If you turn on the live sensor, readings are processed on your device to show current pressure and recent trends. These readings are not transmitted to us.
Preferences. Your unit, sensitivity profile, location choice, and onboarding state are saved locally on your device.
Forecast cache. Recent forecast data is cached locally in SQLite to improve offline use and reduce network requests.
We do not require sign-in. We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics trackers. We do not link your activity across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising.
Forecast and geocoding data are provided by Open-Meteo. When the app requests a forecast, it sends the coordinates needed for your selected area to Open-Meteo’s API. Open-Meteo’s own terms and privacy practices apply to that service.
Location (optional) — Used only when you enable “Use my location” or during onboarding if you choose to allow it. You can deny location and search for a city manually instead.
Motion & Fitness (optional) — Used only when you enable the live barometer in Settings. The app reads barometric pressure from your device sensor; nothing is sent to our servers.
Cached forecasts and optional pressure history remain on your device until the app clears them or you uninstall the app. You can change or reset location and sensor preferences at any time in Settings.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
